Rongo University recently hosted two free teacher training days ahead of the second DEVISE4KE transnational project meeting in Kenya.
Over 20 teachers from partner and nearby secondary schools came together on 29 and 30 September 2025 to build their confidence with computers and improve their digital teaching skills.
The sessions were led by experts from ITB at the University of Bremen (Germany) and Warnborough College Ireland (WCI). The goal was to help teachers:
- Become confident and independent computer users
- Connect devices and solve simple tech problems
- Create professional-looking teaching materials
- Improve digital classroom skills
- Deliver engaging and professional presentations
ITB was represented by Dr Vivian Harberts, Dr Peter Kaune, and Dr Christian Staden, while Dr Julian Ng represented WCI.
Teachers gave glowing feedback, saying the sessions were highly practical and that they appreciated learning from the European institutions.
