This month, our DEVISE4KE consortium came together for an online meeting on 10 May to present and discuss the results of the school and company surveys, the current state analysis of Technical Infrastructure and the “Strategy Report for Homa Bay”. Thanks to these intense months of evaluation of conditions, needs and interests, we were able to identify how many solar panels and ICT equipment are needed to guarantee ICT classes, and in turn, the upskilling of digital competences of teachers and students.
As a next step, photovoltaic equipment will be purchased and installed at our next TPM in July in Kenya.
