Rongo University successfully hosted its 6th International Multidisciplinary Conference from 13–15 May 2026 under the theme “Transformative Research and Innovation for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.” The event brought together researchers, academics, policymakers, industry leaders, and students from across the region and beyond to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions to contemporary challenges.
The conference featured insightful keynote addresses, engaging paper and poster presentations, dynamic panel discussions, exhibitions, and a field excursion. Participants examined a wide range of topics, including transformative education, sustainable development, health and agriculture, artificial intelligence and ethics, media and information integrity, cross-border collaboration, and vocational education.
The conference was widely regarded as a resounding success, fostering meaningful dialogue, strengthening research networks, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. It provided an important platform for showcasing groundbreaking research and innovative practices that can contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future. Selected papers from the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, with outstanding contributions considered for publication in the International Research Journal of Rongo University (IJORU).
